Since the foundation of the world, God has given us a choice – between life and death, blessings and curses. He encourages us to choose life, but maintains that the choice is ours to make. Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. He gave Adam this same choice in the Garden of Eden – between life under the blessings of obedience in the Garden, and life leading to death under the curse outside of the Garden. Eventually, sin gives way to death, both in a spiritual and physical sense.
So what does it actually mean to be saved? Saved from what? What exactly is “Salvation?”
