How To Become A Christian

The Bible States:

1. All Have Sinned And Fallen Short (Romans 3:23)

2. The Wages Of Sin Is Death But The Gift Of God Is Eternal Life (Romans 6:23)

3. All Who Call Upon The Name Of The Lord Shall Be Saved (Romans 10:13)

To accept the free gift of salvation that Jesus died on the cross to make accessible to you, speak these words before the Heavens and the earth:

Heavenly Father, I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. I give you my life. I want Jesus Christ to come into my life and into my heart. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer you are on your way to heaven! Heaven and hell really do exist. And if you died today heaven would be your new home! Congratulations!

Salvation is the most important, most precious, most valuable thing a person can possess. The salvation of God means that you will never see the pits of despair, sorrow and hopelessness of hell for the rest of eternity. Sure, life will be challenging. But no experience or place on earth can compare to the intensity of hell. If people had an understanding of what hell is like, they would be so straight-and-narrow to ensure they never stepped foot inside those gates. You cannot earn Salvation. Nothing you could ever do in your own power can get you into Heaven. No one can pray you there. Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life, meaning eternal life. No one can get into Heaven except through him. Period. That's it. There is only ONE SIN that will keep you out of Heaven, and that is not accepting Jesus Christ into your heart. You must acknowledge that He paid the wages of your sin by dying on the cross. He earned your Salvation, and He offers it to you, out of perfect love, at no charge.

It wasn't nails that held Jesus to the cross, but His love for you. It was not adrenaline that kept Him alive while his flesh was literally torn off of Him during the scourging before the cross, but His determination to set you free from sin and from eternal death. He offers you a ticket out of hell, the place you are bound to go if you choose not to accept His 'Get Out Of Hell Free' card. He earned your salvation from sin, death, and the grave, on the cross. All you have to do is believe that He lived on the earth, died on a cross, and rose again to sit at the right hand of the Father. If you prayed the prayer above, CONGRATULATIONS! You can be 100% sure that you are on your way to spend the rest of your eternal life in a place of inexpressable joy and full of glory.

If you just said that prayer with your lips, believing in your heart what Jesus did for you, then you are now a Christian. Jesus has entered your heart, and you will begin to hear and discern the voice of the Holy Spirit more and more.

The Bible also tells us not to forsake the gathering together of ourselves, so that we might be edified and encouraged together. Find a local church where you can go to get fed the Word of God.
